Designing a Brand for a Keto Food Truck Vendor: Foodie Modo
Foodie Modo came to me with their food philosophy incorporating the Keto diet and a passion for creating fantastic food. The design of the Foodie Modo brand was based around their mission "Food your Way", a rebellious call to eat what you want, how you want it whilst maintaining a healthy relationship with your food. The design also needed to be bold, playful and look awesome on a food truck.
THE CHALLENGE
When Foodie Modo approached me with their unique food philosophy that incorporates the Keto diet, I knew that designing a brand for them would be a challenge. The brand had to communicate their vision of healthy eating, while also being playful and visually appealing. Furthermore, as a food truck vendor, the design had to be striking and instantly recognisable from a distance.
THE SOLUTION
To create the perfect brand for Foodie Modo, I focused on their mission statement, "Food Your Way", which is a rebellious call to eat what you want, how you want it, while still maintaining a healthy relationship with food. I used a bold, playful font that is easy to read and instantly communicates the brand's message. I then incorporated a unique symbol in the form of a fork gesturing devil horns. This was symbolic of their rebellious health food journey and added a playful touch to the design. Finally, I used a bold colour scheme that stood out from a distance and looked awesome on a food truck. The result was a visually appealing brand that effectively communicated the brand's unique food philosophy and caught the attention of customers from afar.
